Hard drugs remain strictly forbidden, with severe penalties. When out at night, it's best to avoid drugs altogether, as this is where shakedowns and arrests often happen.
Always use condoms when meeting random women or sex workers in bars, through apps, or as freelancers. Sex workers and MSM populations continue to experience higher rates of HIV and other STDs than the general population. Stick to familiar places, communicate openly, and trust your instincts. Generally, if something feels rushed, unclear, or too amazing to be true, it probably is.
