Some bars have promos like 79 baht beer. In Nana Plaza next to the entrance, beer cost 90 baht and 1st floor 99 baht right near the entrance. Most girl and ladyboy bars charge around 150 to 200 baht per beer.

Most hotels in the Nana area are guest friendly like always, but it seems to be common these days to charge 500 baht for the second girl. So you can bring one girl for free, but if you bring 2 at the same time you need to pay 500 baht.

Street prostitutes asked around 1500 baht, but some had starting prices like only 1000 baht, so you can get some good deals.

WeChat works also very well in Nana area and at any given time of the day you can find a whore from WeChat nearby people chat.

TukTuk and taxi drivers were not that aggressive this time and they have tough competition now as Uber is getting more popular in Bangkok like GrabTaxi also. In the Nana area you should always check that you will actually get a one hour massage if you buy an oil massage. Sometimes girls only massage for like 30 minutes and then leave. This never really happens if you buy a foot massage.

Nana Plaza, Bangkok (officially Nana Entertainment Plaza; shortened NEP) is a 3 storey red-light district in Bangkok, which is rumored to be the largest sex complex in the world. It is located on Sukhumvit Road Soi 4 across from the Nana Hotel, within walking distance of the BTS Skytrain's "Nana Station". The name originates from the Nana family (with Lek Nana the most prominent member) which owns much property in the area and still has much influence in Thailand.

Along with Soi Cowboy and Patpong, Nana Plaza is one of the Bangkok red-light districts which serve primarily westerners.

The Plaza is in the shape of a square, with a single opening on the western side, and consists of a ground floor and two additional floors. It started as a restaurant area in the late 1970s. During the early 1980s go-go bars, a few gogo bars appeared and gradually replaced the restaurants. The composition of the bars has changed over the past few years; the last non-go-go bar, the Woodstock Pub, was sold in 2005 to the Rainbow Group and reopened as "Rainbow 4." A few bars offer a more pub-like or beer bar format without dancing; as of late-2009 only the Cathouse remained. Three short-time hotels operate on the top floor. Short-time hotels rent rooms by the hour or more for the NEP patrons to take a bar-girl (or kathoey) for commercial sex. Short time rooms at the Bangkok´s Nana Plaza are very cheap and cost only 200 baht and up per hour. The rooms are very simple; meaning they only have a bed, shower and a toilet. They are not cleaned well between sessions, so if you are a bacteria freak, it is not recommended to use these rooms, because sometimes you may also find a used condom from the garbage bins or behind the bed. But these rooms are very handy, because they are in the same complex and easy to use. Meaning if you are horny, you do not need to go far away.

There are more short time rooms near Nana Plaza and most can be found if you exit the Nana Plaza to your left and take the first left after Nana Plaza. There will be a back alley with cheap short time motels, where rooms cost about 250 baht and up per hour. These rooms are a little bit cleaner than the Rooms in the Nana Plaza, but they are also used by the street whores who work on the Nana streets.

Short time rooms do not usually have many features. You may get a towel and a bar of soap if you are lucky. Floors are also dirty, so it is recommended to take the shoes next to the bed, because there may be dust or sperm on the floor.

Drinking

Getting drunk at the Nana Plaza and everywhere in Bangkok can be cheap or very pricey. There is one bar on the second floor where drinks cost only 99 baht. But this bar has no girls but a nice view to Nana Plaza and is a fun place to just hang out and watch people watching. However if you want to enter this bar, you have to walk through the group of ladies who will grab your nuts and try to pick you up. This is a very cheap place considering that in the nearby 7/11 small beer bottles cost around 40 baht.

At the girlie bars, drinks cost usually 150 to 200 baht and you need to buy drinks for the girls if you want them to sit on your table and chat with you. Some people enjoy this kind of thing, but you have to be careful not to order too many drinks for the girls if you get too hammered. But overall Nana Plaza is very cheap and safe if you like to buy drinks for the girls and the scams that are common in Europe do not happen here often. Example that you end up with a 500€ bill once you leave the club.
