Sexual identity

Sexual identity is how a person identifies or feels about his or her own sexuality. Someone could be straight, gay, lesbian, bi, or whatever else they want to call themselves that describes who they’re attracted to and who they want to date or fuck.

Sexual identity and sexual orientation are closely related, but they are not always exactly the same. A guy could have sex with other guys and still call himself straight or bisexual, but another guy might call himself gay out loud.
