Punter
Punter' is slang often used in the United Kingdom, Australia and some other English-speaking countries for a customer paying for sex from a street prostitute, escort, massage parlor worker or other type of sex worker.
The word is widely used in sex tourism, escort advertisements, adult entertianment forums, girly bar culture and red-light district discussions. In old-school nightlife slang, a punter is basically the one who pays for the sex.

In the United Kingdom and Australia, the word punter is very common in escort, massage parlor and nightlife culture. In the United States, the word john is more commonmly used in media and police language. In old sex tourism forums, the word monger is also often used.
