Gay saunas normally have showers, sauna or steam rooms, cruising areas and places to relax.
They are not the same as German FKK Clubs. A gay sauna is mainly for guys meeting other guys, while an FKK Club in the German sex industry normally means a commercial adult club with working girls.

Berlin has a long history of porn cinemas, sex cinemas and video cabins.
Some cater mainly to gay and bisexual men and have cruising areas, cabins or darkrooms.
Gay Cruising in Berlin
Berlin has a long history of outdoor gay cruising.

Grunewald and areas around Berlin's nudist lakes have also been used for gay cruising.
Hasenheide, Volkspark Friedrichshain, Humboldthain, Teufelssee and parts of Wannsee have also appeared in old Berlin gay cruising guides.

History
Berlin's gay nightlife has changed a lot over the years. Many famous bars and clubs from the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s are gone.
Tom's Bar was located in Motzstraße 19 and it was one of Schöneberg's legendary gay cruising bars. Tom's opened in 1982 and became famous for its darkroom and the slogan "For successful cruising."
