Leather subculture

Leather subculture is a community centered around leather clothing, fetish fashion and alternative lifestyles. It is closely associated with BDSM, Leather bars and other fetish communities, although many people enjoy leather simply as a style or identity rather than a sexual interest. Common leather gear includes jackets, vests, boots, harnesses, chaps, gloves and caps. The modern leather scene grew out of post-war motorcycle culture and the gay leather community, but today it includes people of all genders and sexual orientations. Leather-themed parties, clubs an some escorts, brothels and fetish studios cater specifically to people interested in leather and BDSM.
