Laufhaus or Eros Center is the common term in Germanys, Austrias & Switzerland for a walk in brothel. It is used because the customers walk through the corridors of the house (hence the name: Laufhaus/Walk House), can negotiate directly with the prostitutes and, where appropriate, may enter into a contract. The entrance itself usually costs nothing in to the Laufhaus, but sometimes there can be a small entry fee.
Usually after renting a room from the Laufhaus, prostitutes can arrange their working schedule and decide the pricing themself, but sometimes the schedules and prices are decided by the brothel owner.
In a classic Brothel, however, the customer entrance and usually also some expensive drinks must pay before he usually comes at a bar, with the women working there to do business.
