Zalo is the most popular local messaging app in Vietnam and is also widely used by escorts, hookers and massage girls in Saigon, Da Nang and Hanoi to keep in touch with customers. Zalo is one of the main apps used by escorts and sex workers in Vietnam.
After the first contact via a dating site, escort advertisement, bar or massage shop, escorts often provide customers with their Zalo details. Independent girls can use Zalo profiles, private messages & contact lists to arrange later meetings and hotel outcalls. Some massage workers even give their Zalo contacts to regular customers who can contact them directly instead of via the massage shop. Zalo accounts are easy to create and contacts may even be strangers so customers should still be on the lookout for fake profiles, advance payment requests and other common scams.
