Nakasu
Nakasu is the most well known entertainment and nightlife district in Fukuoka, Japan. It is one of Japan's best known adult entertainment districts, offering hostess clubs, soaplands pink salons, fashion health parlors, escort services and good nightlife.
Unlike many Asian red-light districts, very little street prostitution takes place in Nakasu. Most sex businesses operate from licensed entertainment businesses or are arranged through clubs, beer bars and mobile apps.
Prices vary a lot and basic sexual services usually starts around 8,000 to 15,000 JPY, while soaplands, high-end clubs and escorts usually charge 20,000 to 50,000 JPY.
Nakasu is generally considered very safe, but tourists should watch for bait and switch scams, overpriced drinks, escort deposit scams and aggressive hustlers outside some bars. Many venues have a minimum spending requirement before entry.
