Sploshing Sex Guide covers wet and messy fetishism, usually shortened to WAM: getting covered in custard, cream, slime, mud or other messy substances. What Happens in Sploshing?
Whipped cream, custard, baked beans, spaghetti and gunge are familiar examples. Some people want a few pies and a laugh. Others want a carefully dressed person covered from head to toe. Formal clothes, uniforms and lingerie can make the contrast part of the attraction.
The mess itself can be enough. One person might watch, another might do the pouring, while someone else wants to be on the receiving end. Humiliation and submission can feature, but plenty of WAM is playful rather than dominant or aggressive.
Sploshing with Fetish Escorts
With fetish escorts or a dominatrix, sploshing needs arranging beforehand. Turning up with a bag of custard is not a substitute for asking. The provider needs to know the substances, quantities, clothing and whether the client wants to participate or watch.
A WAM booking does not automatically include sex. Some sessions are entirely about the mess, costumes and roleplay. Any sexual contact is a separate agreement.

There is no fixed sploshing surcharge. The quote may include materials, preparation, cleaning time, room hire and replacement clothing. A small pieing scene and a full gunge setup are different jobs.
Ask whether cleanup is included in the booked time and who supplies the outfit. If destroying clothing is part of the fantasy, agree on that before anything gets poured.
Sploshing in London and Berlin
London has documented links to sploshing through performance and film, including London-based filmmaker Em Cole's Sloppy Seconds. In Berlin, the JA SM IN BERLIN community advertised a sploshing workshop in July 2024.
These are examples of the interest appearing in local creative and kink communities. They do not mean every fetish club or escort in either city offers WAM.
Different Types of WAM
Pieing focuses on pies and the slapstick mess they create. Gunge play uses thick slime, sometimes with a purpose-built dumping tank. Mud wrestling brings in physical competition, while wetlook centres on soaked clothing and may involve no food or slime at all.
Materials matter. Household paint and cleaning products are not substitutes for products intended for skin contact. Agree on allergies and limits, keep substances away from the eyes and airways, and leave time to wash afterwards. Slippery floors also need attention.
