West Street
West Street is the center of the Ayia Napa party scene and one of the most famous bar streets in Europe. Every summer the area fills with young tourists looking for cheap drinks, beach parties, hookups and all-night clubbing.
Many British, Irish, Scandinavian and other European tourists are looking to have casual sex, fun and party in West Street. Getting laid is often easier than in many European cities simply because thousands of visitors come here specifically to party. The scene is based around bars, clubs and holiday romances rather than prostitution which is more about escorts and freelancers at certain clubs.
There is no major red-light district and very little visible street prostitution. Drink promotions, bar crawls and cheap alcohol are often quite cheap and most hotels and apartments are within walking distance of the nightlife.
