Sex scene is a scene in a movie, television program, adult film or other media showing sexual activity. Sex scenes can be simulated or real, depending on the production.
In mainstream movies, sex scenes are normally simulated. In pornography, performers known as pornographic actors may perform real sexual activity for the camera. Sex scenes are a central part of the porn industry.
