Description

Gay Sauna. The baths are just beside Omonia. They are a bit difficult to find as the passageway entrance is hidden by street sellers "hawking" their wares. Turn left down the stairs to the reception where you are supplied with three towels and collect some shoes. The entrance costs €9 for a locker, €10 for a room and €13 for a room with shower. The place is the oldest baths in Athens and looks a bit rundown, but is clean. It is is a bit of a maze with a sort of "Tepidarium" with a raised marble dais and showers around the room, a very small sauna which is hardly used and some darkrooms and porno room on the opposite side of the entrance hall. Free coffee and ice cold water. The clientele pick-up from the showers and go to their room or wander the passageways and porno room.
